New AFF Research Program Launch - March 24, 2020

Arts Funders Forum invites you to participate in the next phase of our research. Our survey, "Next-Generation Cultural Philanthropy: Driving positive social transformation through arts funding," will build off of one of the key findings from our first study - that next-generation philanthropists care deeply about the impact their giving has on their communities and society as a whole.

In partnership with Claremont Graduate University's Center for Business & Management of the Arts, we are reaching out to funders, institutions, corporations, foundations, artists and beyond, to best explore the intersection of the arts and the following urgent challenges: Environment, Health, Education, Racial Equity, Poverty, Criminal Justice, Immigration, and Hunger. These were chosen in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as established ESG criteria.

We hope this research will help us create new programs and tools to share the work that artists and institutions do every day to help raise awareness and capacity for solving social challenges, as well as find new ways to steer capital towards these aims.

Arts Funders Forum (AFF) is a platform shaping the future of cultural philanthropy. We conduct innovative research and analysis that uncover new frameworks for giving, new ways to measure outcomes, how to optimize partnerships, and offer insights into how the cultural sector can successfully adapt to large-scale social transformations and thrive in the new social, political and economic context.
